PS5 HDMI Port/Socket

No Display Output From Your PS5 Game Console

It's more than likely a broken HDMI Port/Socket. This is a common fault with the PS5 Series due to many PS5s have the V1 Open Back HDMI Port/Socket.

PS5 Overheating and Causing a Thermal Shutdown

There are reasons for the Thermal Shutdown and in most cases, you'll find you have a High Fan (Loud Fan) up to the point of Thermal Shutdown but there are some cases where you will have just a Thermal Shutdown; this means your PS5 needs servicing. This is what I call a Core Service which is a part teardown to the steel chassis and using an airline to remove all dust debris from the PS5, then it's a brush and airline on the Cooling Fan. At this point, the main PCB is removed and the old liquid metal is removed, then both surfaces (APU / Heatsink) are sterilised with IPA for the new liquid metal and on to full assembly. The best orientation to run your PS5 is horizontally (Laying Down Flat) this keeps you new liquid metal where it should be, evenly across your APU giving the best cooling scenario.
